I'm posting a little bit of everything today. Pats on my back. I took pictures of the last few things I've done,card-wise. I'm going to post them. One I'm quite proud of and the rest was just messing around. Got a bunch of new Memory Box dies courtesy of the bi-annual Stampadoodle sale in Bellingham. So here goes....
No memory box but a super cool amaze balls technique I learned from the Ribbon Girls blog. I love that blog. So creative. So bad for my wallet, though. The card is A2 size but it looks square because I'm still learning the how-to's of blogging from an iPad...need a new computer. Next.
This card is made of all scraps. The frame is memory box. The background is an embossing folder on tim holtz craft coredination paper and a bunch of distress inks smeared DTP. Just wanted to see where these pieces would go. No sure if I'm done yet. Its a work in progress...perhaps a mistake...but...just wanted to get it out there. Next.
Same memory box die. Background done with post-it note hand cut masks and distress inks and sponge applicators. I like it. BTW: love, love, love the new spring distress colours. Lastly.
More memory box dies (did I mention I have slight problem?). I think I read about the technique on either Ellen Hutson or Jennifer McGuire's blogs. Anyways, basically cut out a die twice and use all the pieces to make one badkground. Super picky work....totall up my alley. I did these cards for a swap and left them blank in case someone wanted to stamp additionally on it. I like these. Just takes some time, patience, and good tweezers.
Well, off to finally get a proper start on my weekend. I know, its Sunday. Anyways, will be back with some new stuff later.
