PTI Anniversary Challenge - Watercolor

Morning Stampers!

Hope everyone had a lovely Family Day yesterday.  I actually spent the day by myself as Charlie had to work.  Apparently Family Day is a provincial holiday and federal employees aren't entitled to the stat holiday.  Funny...Charlie doesn't really think so...but I do.  Anyways, it was a very quiet day yesterday and spent most of the day playing in my craft room.  The stars must have been aligning since I spent the day playing with watercolors.  Here's what I created:

Supplies:  Paper - PTI, Stamp/Sentiment - PTI, Die - Memory Box and Sizzix, Rhinestones - Hero Arts, Ink - Rangers Distressed Inks

Anyways, I smooshed the ink pads into my craft sheet, sprayed with water and dragged and blotted the watercolour paper across the surface.  Once the paper dried, I went back and selectively blotted more colour in areas.  Once the paper dried again, I die cut the mat.  The die cut panel is mounted on foam dots and the flower outlined is adhered with glue pen.   I always forget to use cardstock with adhesive on the back until after I die cut the shape and am using my glue pen.  Maybe next time or probably the ten times after that, I'll remember or most likely not.

Well, that's about it for me today.  I'm lucky to have today off since Family Day pushed my day off forward. Yay three day weeks.  I may need to take a nap or something.  I don't think I can keep up this furious blog pace I've set for myself.  LOL.

Until next time.

peace.

  1. Hey Girl!! It's Sunday Feb 17 and I am desperate to know how you applied the Inka Gold to the brick embossed paper! I've tried a sponge. Cotton ball. My finger and it goes on the un-embossed areas and I'm ready to scream! I have crafting time set aside today...and I'm hoping you check your comments...let me know if you can!!

    1. Thank you for visiting Bibiana. I love your blog. I learned French in high school (some time ago) so...je parle Francaise un peu (?) I guess I should try and be better at it since I'm Canadian. ;)
