Messing Around a Clean Room

Cleaned up the craft cave some more this morning.  Lots of organizing going on lately as I seemed to have lost my craft mojo.  Scraps organized into ROYGBIV system of large Zip Lock bags, clear stamp sets organized by company, alphabetically, dies returned to appropriate envelopes and categories, and tops of glitter jars glittered for easier location and recognition.  I think you get the picture.  So I ended up making three cards (one yesterday and two this morning).

One card is a work in progress. I want to see just how much is too much, you know?  Can you guess which one?  It started out a watercolor background which I have impressed with a cover plate and then over stamped with a text stamp.  I then cut out the squiggles with my new PTI dies but I still feel it's missing something. I'm thinking giant glitter butterfly or some kind of die cut label and sentiment.  Some times I like making cards with no sentiments on the front as it tends to get lost if there's a huge technique panel or a bunch of techniques going on at the same time.

The second card is my own attempt at glitter painting with peel offs.  I took a class with Jessie Hurley at Scrapbook Warehouse this weekend and thought I'd give it a go.  After all, I have been hoarding glitter and peel offs for quite some time now.  I like it.  You get to finger paint with glitter.  Sadly my skin is soooo DRY I can't pick up anything with my finger tips without licking them first.  It's not the first time I've gotten up close and personal with a crafting supply.  I've been known to lick a stamp or two in the not to distant past.  Don't judge.  LOL.

I also made a card for my work birthday buddy.  Love, love, love Memory Box dies.  Love, love, love, love, love butterfly dies.  Except for the card base, the whole thing was made with scraps and the stamp is PTI.

So that's what I've been up to.

Peace out stampers.
